Perks?

Our stat/SPECIAL is too lax to award extra points to someone via perks, which was an intentional design on my part. I don't want people to feel it's necessary to know everything about Fallout to be included, so people are free to use low-high, roll dice, or allotment like Fallout. Caps are earned via posting. Discussion posts are entirely excluded as caps are just an IC thing, so all the boards where discussion happens award 0 caps for posts. IC replies give you 1 cap, creating your own gives you 2, as of right now--I'm still working out how much should be given, but I think caps should be generally rarer. If you want more you can tag Gamemaster or any lore master (they're the only one, though), and ask, "What's in this drawer?" and potentially there may be some caps in there, but it depends, because the Lore Master may say there's a gun, instead. This was exactly my feeling about it, too! I definitely don't want to take away from any narrative and I want to involve people in the magic of storytelling. So if you have perk ideas for that (Ninja is good), then definitely, I'm going to be combing through each games' perk list either tonight or tomorrow evening to see which perks would be viable. edit Obviously the caps system is favourable to those who RP a lot. Which is what the collective 'we' want, I think. But there's also a wage factor--if you post so many times in 2 weeks the game will just pay out caps as well, instead of just the 1 cap per reply etc
