Hello, post-apocalyptia! Call me Al. I'm an Australian (ex-city) country boy who adores all things post-apoc, whether grim, facetious, or a bit of both. Some of my favourite things in the genre are: - Fallout: New Vegas
- Mad Max: Fury Road
- The entire Monster Hunter series
- Solatorobo: Red the Hunter
- Shaun of the Dead
- Z Nation
I generally really like the wasteland aesthetic, probably because I've always thought deserts were super rad and wastelands tend to be pretty similar in a lot of ways.
I also enjoy the post-post-apoc thing that Solatorobo and Monster Hunter go for, where things have long since moved on from the past and there's a new world in its place with only a few buried hints of the old.
Just... the apocalypse, man. Good stuff.
Seeing how different writers and creators interact with the concept gives me life.
Anyways, I'll be playing Special the friendly book nerd deathclaw on this here forum so I guess hit me up if you wanna plot something~ |
